Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union will march from Glasgow to London, via Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham, in the run-up to the General Election, demanding the renationalisation of the railways. The march, reminiscent of the Marches for Jobs of the early 1980s, will be led by the Silkwood Colliery Band with the slogan of "Privatisation My Arse", succinctly summing up the disaster of rail privatisation.
